MinneWebCon is a two-day web conference in Minneapolis that encourages inclusive grassroots knowledge-sharing. In addition to keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and half-day workshops, our annual conference is a space for speakers and attendees to collaborate, talk, learn, ask, test, and grow.
Hiatus in 2019
MinneWebCon is officially on hiatus. After 11 years as a volunteer-run event, it is time for us to take a break, re-assess, and regroup. Our signature 2-day conference and workshop event won’t happen in 2019, but we’re not going away entirely. You’ll see us at tech events around the Twin Cities as we support groups that match our values of inclusion and diversity.
Looking for a new home
After 11 great years at the University of Minnesota, MinneWebCon is looking for a home. Do you know of an organization that would host our little grassroots tech conference that could? As a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization, MinneWebCon needs a sponsor who can handle some light accounting work and support our dedicated conference committee.

To 2020 … and beyond!
Do you care about MinneWebCon and the values we stand for? We’d love to hear about it! What are you looking for in a tech conference these days? Tell us!
MinneWebCon remains invested in the Minnesota technology community, and as we take this year to rest and regroup, we’re more dedicated than ever to bringing a valuable conference to new and returning attendees.
MinneWebCon features two dynamic keynotes each year that stretch our thinking about the web.
